2010 Honda Civic

Are you looking for a 2010 Honda Civic?

Q: How fast does a 2010 Honda Civic Coupe go?
My new 2010 Honda Civic Coupe has an electric speedometer, so idk how fast it can go. Im a girl i dont know much about these things

A: i was starting at 40 mp/h roll and got to 131 mph until the car just didnt have any more power left to go faster

Q: Where can I go to get a 2010 Honda Civic keyless entry and power lock installation?
I just bought a 2010 Honda Civic without the keyless entry or power locks =/ where can I buy the installation kit, or how do I go about getting this done? thanks =]

A: You can buy the kit for under $100 and is quite simple to do. If you only want power lock, you can do that yourself or have someone do it for around $100.

If you also want an alarm and add power locks to it you can go to Best Buy or most stereo shops can do it as well. But that will cost more money, probably around $350 after installtion.

Q: Does anyone else have 2010 honda civic problems?
I’m having alot of problems with my new 2010 civic, and I’m trying to see if anyone else is having the same problems. I have brought the car to the dealership several times for repairs..

These are the problems I’m still having:

1. The seat belt locks up ALL the time, sometimes it will release quickly, or it will stay locked for a while. This usually happens when I’m accelerating.
2. Automatic Transmission is very sticky, sometimes it feels like the car is jerking into gear.

Thanks!

A: Nope. Mine has been perfect so far.

Q: Would the 2010 Honda civic be worth buying?
Well I’m deciding on getting a 2010 civic 2 or 4 door. I’m 20 and plan on upgrading small things on it like the headlights and sound I know sound is easy but are there parts for the outside like halo projectors and stuff. All mostly those two minor upgraded
Also wondering if it’s worth buying the car.

A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.deep-ice.com

A: Financed cars is more expensive to insurance cause it requires full coverage. You can compare how much you would pay for full coverage of this car using this tool – carinsurance.deep-ice.com

Q: How will the 2010 honda civic coupe be different than the 2009 honda civic coupe?
Should I wait a month to get the 2010 ? ? ? Will I get a much better deal on the 2009 because the 2010 will be on dealer lots soon?
Thanks johnny, but i already picked out the car i want.

A: The 2010 Civic will look nearly identical, there may be some different color options. You might be able to get an ‘09 for a bit less than the ‘10 when they hit dealers. You would get a great deal on a ‘09 or ‘10 next year when the all new 2011 Civic comes out.

Q: Will the price of Honda civic 2010 drop near the end of this year?
I am thinking of financing / leasing a Honda civic Sedan 2010, Can anybody tell me whether the price will be reduced near the end of this year (because of arrival of 2011 model in near future)? thanks
Is it possible to get price reduced further from what they are already offering (i,e. discounted price) ?

A: the 2011 are on the lot go make your deal now

Q: 2009 Honda Civic Coupe or 2010 Honda Civic Coupe?
I was planning on buying a 2009 Honda Civic Coupe, however, I just heard that a 2010 model is coming out soon. Should I wait for the 2010 model, or will it be pretty much the same as the 2009 model.

A: i recomend getting the 09 now because you can get a great deal on the because it is the model year end.

my mom got a great deal on a Corolla 0% 60 months LE sticker price was 19,500 and i was able to negotiate it down to 17,000.

dealers will give in to what you want if you take away to “old” models.

get the 09 and say you want it for this price with this interest rate or no deal and they will give in…

and to those people who say bye american…
people would buy american if the retarded CEO’s who run the companys knew how to make cars the right way, insted of using cheap parts and charging double what the car is worth.

Foreign is the only way to go in order the get a reliable and dependable vehicle.

Q: Can a 2010 honda civic coupe pull a jet ski?
I am looking to buy a jet ski and the weight is between 650-750lbs and am wondering can a 2010 honda civic coupe pull a jet ski? or any earlier models of the civic coupe (2007-10).

A: Your engine will frequently overheat if you try to to pull that boat with a civic.

Q: How difficult is it to remove steel wheels & install alloy rims on a car (2010 Honda Civic)?
I bought a brand new Honda Civic and it came with steel wheels. I personally do not like the look, and would like to add alloy rims. How difficult would it be to remove the steel wheels and install the rims? would i need speacial equipment, or do you just think i should just get them professionally done ? thanks for your response.

A: If you are changing tires too,(see www.tirerack.com for good combinations) there is just jacking it up, unbolting the old and bolting on the new.

If you are keeping the same tires then they would have to be removed from the old rims, mounted and balanced on the new wheels. Much easier for a pro with equiptment.

Q: Is it a good time to get a 2010 Honda Civic?
I’ve heard a redesign can come in 2011, and I’ve also heard 2012. I was spilt between Toyotas (2 of which I already I own) and Honda, and after the multiple recalls, Im set on honda. Though I do find the civic styling a bit old now, the interior has enuff juice to keep my interest. Your thoughts =D

A: I just got a 2010 Honda Civic LX-S and it looks great! Even though the it hasn’t been redesigned since ‘06, I still feel that the design is as fresh as can be, because of the slight face lift in 2009. My friends and family give me compliments on how futuristic my car is, especially with the digital speedometer.

However, if you can wait for the new design, I’m sure you still won’t be disappointed. Honda is always a good choice.

Q: Can someone find a used 2010 Honda civic ex for me?
the civic should be the one with the 4 doors and i would like it to be the darker gray color but not the titanium color. i think it might be called polished metal. the price range should be close to 15k to 16k. Also, I live in Charlotte, NC. If anyone can find this car for me online or at an actual store, then i will be soooooo grateful.

A: A used 2010 Civic is not going to be sold for $16000 unless it is extremely high mileage (50k +) or has had major body damage and a salvage branded title.

It is hard to find a current model year vehicle used, and the price range you are looking for is about $4000 low.

Sorry

Hope This Helps :)

Q: Can a 2010 Honda Civic Ex engine fit into a 1997 Honda Civic Ex?
I want to swap out the old Ex engine for a 2010 Ex engine.

A: can it be swapped out, yes anything is possible with alot of money….

what your best off to do is replace your old 97 civic ex motor with the same, it would cost alot more to swap a 2010 civic motor in your civic and in my opinion its a waste of time and money.

Q: What can i do to improve the torque for a 2010 honda civic si coupe?
Are there any parts such as turbos, intakes that i can buy?

A: I see this question asked several times on Yahoo Answers every day. What you are saying is that I bought this cute little wing pinger economy car and I hate the doggy performance.

This is an economy car. It is built for fuel mileage, not for speed.

So you have two choices here.

First choice:
Start with the trendy simple bolt-ons like the ever popular cold air kit and a fancy muffler only to realize that you spent a lot of money on stuff that didn’t really do all that much. You can then add some fancy spark plugs and some cool looking spark plug wires, maybe a computer programmer, only to discover little or no more gains also. You then will come to the realization that if you want any noticeable improvements you are going to need to spend some serious money. Change the pistons, cams, have some larger valves installed, have some port work done, change the computer, add a turbo. By now you may even be considering an expensive engine swap. Now you are getting into some serious cash. You are also starting to discover that the transmission, clutch, differential, and other driveline components aren’t up to the task and things are starting to break. Your so called reliable little foreign car isn’t all that reliable any more. And since you threw so many aftermarket parts on it you have voided the factory warranty. From now on anything in the drive line that fails will be blamed on your modifications. The cost of these repairs will be on you. So you need to throw some money at these things also.

Or

Second choice:
Sell this little four banger economy car. Take the money from the sale, add to this amount the several thousand dollars that you were going to spend on modifications to your wing pinger economy car and buy something with a V8. Maybe something like a New Mustang GT or Camaro SS. From the start the Mustang GT or Camaro SS will be quicker and faster than this little economy car could ever hope to be. The Mustang or Camaro will be more reliable because it will come from the factory with drive line components matched to the more powerful V8 engine. You will have a platform that takes well to performance upgrades. You will find that there is a huge amount of aftermarket performance parts available for a Mustang GT or Camaro SS.

If you want something fast, don’t screw around. Buy something that is fast to begin with. It takes very little to get a V8 Mustang or Camaro to do 12’s in the quarter. It would take several thousand dollars to get a little 4 banger economy car into the 12’s. Spend several thousand on modifications on a V8 Mustang or Camaro and 10’s are possible.
