Q: are the new 2010 honda accord coupes good first cars?
i am thinking of getting a new 2010 accord coupe as a first car. they range to about $25,000 full loaded. honda, so i have been told, is a very reliable car.. what is your opinion?

Q: What engine could I fit in my 2010 Honda Accord?
I have a Honda Accord 2010 and was wondering if there’s any V8 or V10 engine that could fit into it. I know Honda doesn’t make anything bigger than a V6, but I’m sure other engines could fit in it, even if aftermarket or of another engine maker. Money isn’t an issue.

A: with enough machining ANYTHING can fit or work…but its how much money and work you wanna spend on it.

then again, you dont need to swap out for a v8 ior v10 to make more power…swap it out for a NSX engine.

Q: Is their anything I can do to my 2010 Honda Accord to fix the appearance of the back?
I have a 2010 Honda Accord. The car, in general, looks really nice; I have some nice rims on it and a window tint. However, I do not like the appearance of the back of the car. I feel that it is too round. I there anything I can do to make it look nicer.

A: Maybe get a spoiler or deck lip.

Q: What is a good price on a 2010 Honda Accord?
So I went to Honda today and I am looking at:

-4-Door
-Black exterior
-Black Interior (not leather)
-power locks, windows and power driver seat..

The ticket says $26000, and HE says he can cut it down to $25000 and that’s the best he can do but i think that’s ridiculous..what do you think is reasonable?

A: Sounds a little bit high. Im guessing its an EX? And a 4cyl? You do need to be a bit more specific about it to more info on the price. You should def look at edmunds.com and do more research on the vehicle. As you know, its not always a good idea to take the salemans word for it. I looked to see if there were any rebates on the 10 Accord but did not see any…you should look more into that as well.

Q: Would I pay luxury tax on a 2010 Honda Accord if i pay for it CASH?
I am thinking of buying a 2010 Honda Accord and paying cash for it, my question is do I have to pay luxury tax come tax time for the car, I live in NJ? Anyone help out?

A: There isn’t a luxury tax anymore. That went out years ago.

When the luxury tax existed, it was on more expensive cars, not a Honda. Plus, the tax was paid at the time of sale and your method of payment didn’t change anything.

Q: What color rims for my new 2010 honda accord sedan?
I have a dark grey accord sedan wondering what kind of rims to get Chrome? black with metal lip? or black? im getting tinted windows. Also i wanted to get 20 inch rims but i dont want to do any modifications if its too big i will just get 19 inch rims then. I dont want to have the tires rub either.

Q: When will the 2010 Honda Accord be Available?
What month and day specially will the ‘10 Accords be available for purchase? Currently they only have the ‘09 offerings, while Toyota, Ford and Hyundai have their 2010 models released.

A: It all depends on the model. The 2010 Pilot, Insight and Odyssey are already in showrooms.

We have some being built in about 2 weeks and then it will be about 12 days later.

Short answer end of this month beginning of next.

On my 05 Ford truck, the owners manual tells you how. I didn’t see anything in the Honda manual. Please tell me there is a way. Thanks.

A: Either look under the seat or under the dash and remove the seat belt relay but remember that this may make the the light on the dash remain on……….

A: Honda’s 2010 engines (except Civic Si) are all designed to run on the lowest grade fuel, usually 87 octane.

I’m thinking of buying a new car, I wanted to know the the differences between the two so I can distinguish them apart. Just making sure I buy the right model.

A: the only differences:
The 2010 Honda Accord now includes Bluetooth HandsFreeLink for all vehicles equipped with leather seating surfaces, as well as those equipped with a navigation system. The Accord EX Sedan and EX-L Sedan add rear-seat ventilation ducts. The graphics for the climate control buttons are improved.

Q: Is it better to buy a 2010 Honda Accord or wait for the 2011 model ?
It says the 2011 model would be on sale from August 15th, and lots of dealers seems to have a clearance plan to blow the old model.

I am wondering which model might be a good choice in this time ? I would probably pay cash as my credit history is less than 2 years.

A: Unless there is some design change to the 2011 that you just have to have, buy the 2010. Dealers are holding sales, using/offering incentives, and making deals as it is the end of the model year and they must move the inventory. Hence, you’ll likely get a better deal out of a cash deal on a 2010 than a 2011. Get at least an LX trim level or better, and try to determine how long the car has been on the lot. (Check the sticker). Older stock is costing the dealer money and they will be even more eager to deal on those first. Use an an argument that the car is already 1 year old and has depreciated. (That applies even if its still untagged and new). You might also see if they have a demo on sale at a much reduced price. It usually has some miles on it, and is considered a used car when sold, but it would come with full warranty.

Q: Should I get a 2010 Honda accord coupe or a 2010 ford mustang v6?
I like the two cars total exterior and interior design but can’t decide which one to go for, Can anybody give me the pros and cons on both vehicles…I also heard that the accord coupe has some bad breaks and that they need to be replace alot, has anyone heard this?

A: I would recommend the Accord! It is more reliable, probably cheaper to insure, and just as fun to drive as the Mustang. If you get the top of the line model, you will enjoy many luxuries usually found in much more expensive cars, such as heated leather seats, voice activated controls, gps navigation, etc.
Also, the V-6 manual transmission Accord coupe goes from 0-60 mph in 5.7 seconds (the automatic sedan does it in 7.2. While the 2010 Mustang V-6 does it in 6.7 seconds for the manual transmission, and 7 seconds flat for the automatic.
So, the Accord has faster acceleration than the Mustang, and with the sport tuned suspension it actually handles fairly well for a big, heavy FWD car. The RWD Mustang would probably beat it on a windy race track, but thats basically the only advantage it has.

I own a 2005 Accord EX V-6 coupe with 6 speed manual. It currently has just about 150,000 miles on it, and I have never had any issues with my brakes. I have had to replace the pads, but that is normal. I know the 2008 and newer are a totally new Accord, but I doubt that there are any serious brake issues…. But if you want to find out, I suggest finding a Honda, or Accord online forum. You can find very valuable information on these forums from owners. You could also ask them questions that you have and get a response from someone that actually owns the car, instead of someone trying to sell you one.

I like the Ford Mustang, and although I do like many imports, I am not one of those people who will always say, buy a Japanese car, it will last longer. It mainly has to do with how you maintain your car, but, in the instance between a V-6 Mustang and a V-6 Accord, the choice is fairly simple. The Accord is a far more superior car.
IF you really want performance, but a Mustang GT with the V-8 motor!

Q: What color do you like best on a 2010 Honda Accord?
I want it in the ‘Taffeta White’ – it looks classy and clean and spanking new. But the ‘Polished Metal Metallic’ (gray) looks good too – it’s bold and upscale and confident.

A: How about a woman’s opinion? I just drove one today and considered it. I thought the best looking car on the lot was a light gray one with gray leather interior. I swore I would never own another gray car but this one was really nice looking and easily the classiest looking car on the lot.
